Fans have been hoping for this for a long time, ever since Fortnite launched the impostor mode, a game very similar to the mechanics of Among Us. After a long wait, however, it is official: the two hugely popular video games collaborate in a cross-over which will lead to Among Us themed cosmetic items on Epic’s Battle Royale.
Those who purchase Among Us or a Star Pack from the Epic Games Store will receive as a gift un backpack e un’emote for use in the famous Battle Royale. The collaboration starts today and will last exactly one year, until 9 June 2023.
Il backpack Crewmate features 10 styles based on Among Us colors (red, blue, green, pink, orange, black, white, yellow, brown and purple). The emote instead, called Distraction Dance, consists of a ballet. The content will also be available in the future for separate purchase on the Fortnite game store, although Epic Games has not confirmed any release date.
Meanwhile, speaking of Fortnite crossover, Epic Games’ Battle Royale is preparing to welcome Obi-Wan Kenobi, after Pac-Man skins arrived in-game last week. Also on the web there are rumors that would like the implementation of a first-person mode.
