However, a new job posting on Linkedin reveals that a position as Technical Game Designer at PlayStation Studios Visual Arts is now being sought.

The game you are going to work on, according to the ad description, will implement existing game systems in a new framework, and will enhance existing level scripts for interaction. The presence of hand-to-hand combat and ranged weapons is also denoted. Going to interpret the terms inserted, it is possible to understand how the position in question is relative to the playback of an existing title. There are obviously no official references that report a remake of The Last of Us in progress, but it remains a palpable possibility, given the premises listed in the announcement.
