The Little Mermaid, a new poster and an announcement: the trailer will debut during the Oscars!
Accompanied by a thousand, perhaps inevitable controversies, the journey of the live-action de The Little Mermaid continues according to schedule: the film with Halle Bailey in the role of Ariel should make its debut next May and Disney is gradually revealing the details of the production. In particular, a new poster has been released on the film’s Twitter channel that portrays the protagonist sitting on a rock.
So far, however, very little is what Disney has decided to show us while waiting for the first official trailer. First trailer of which, however, the release date is known, and also the occasion: the Oscar ceremony 2023.
While the short teaser of The Little Mermaid released a few days ago showed us Melissa McCarthy’s Ursula for the first time, a new poster therefore comes to remind us of the arrival of the new Disney live-action and, above all, to reveal the day when we will finally be able to take a look at an official and definitive trailer.
What better occasion, then, than that of the cinematic gala night par excellence? The trailer of The Little Mermaid will in fact make its debut this Sunday during the Academy Awards ceremony, as stated in the tweet published by the official Twitter profile of the film directed by Rob Marshall.
Only a few days, therefore, and we will be able to dive “to the bottom of the sea” again in the company of Ariel, Sebastian and partners.
