The Lord of the Rings: Gollum there is one new launch window: It was announced that the title could be released in April and September 2023. The news was shared in the publisher’s latest earnings report Naconwhich cited the “first half of fiscal 2023-24” as the likely launch window.

The Lord of the Rings: Gollum has been postponed once again: the title was expected for the first half of 2023 but Nacon’s recent announcement has revealed that the long-awaited video game could debut between April and September 2023. The Lord of the Rings spin-off was originally slated for 2021but Nacon and Daedalic Entertainment have continued to delay the title ever since.

According to developer Daedalic Entertainment, the latest delay serves to fine-tune the game to meet player expectations e ensure a smooth experience. Regarding the delay, Daedalic said:

“Over the past few years, the team has worked hard to share our vision for an extraordinary story set in a breathtaking world full of magic and wonder. We are committed to meeting the expectations of our community and uncovering Gollum’s untold story in a way that honors JRR Tolkien’s vision.”

Early teases from Eurogamer and other websites have described Gollum as “one big puzzle”, aunique stealth adventure which highlights the various terrains of Mordor and other iconic locations from The Lord of the Rings from a new perspective.

In the title, players will lead the former Ring bearer, Gollum, on a mission post-Hobbit. Here they will have the opportunity to explore many famous locations from the saga, such as the Misty Mountains, Barad-far, Mirkwood e Mordor. At the same time they will have to help Gollum while he fights with the his two personalities and is committed to overcome the attacks of the Orcs and of others creature.

The first gameplays showed aslow crawling exploration it’s a’plenty of rocky and taut regions. There are also famous characters from the world of Tolkien, including Gandalf e Thranduilthe King of the Elves.
