Waiting for the official release of Final Fantasy XVI, scheduled for the summer of 2023, Square Enix Ltd. has released a new trailer, which reveals several new features of the highly anticipated sixteenth chapter of the iconic franchise.
The video, called Ambition, shows us the Kingdom of Valisthea and its inhabitants. These will be part of the rich cast of characters that the player will meet during his magical journey. The trailer also offers us a first look at the Dominants, men and women with a terrible evocative power.
In addition to the trailer – available at this link – the developer of the game Naoki Yoshida commented on the new game. Here are the words of him:
“I am delighted to announce that our new trailer, Ambition, is now available. Rather than focusing on the action like in our previous trailer, this time we wanted to take a more detailed look at the FINAL FANTASY XVI setting and its rich cast of characters, and the Dominants in particular. “
He Director Hiroshi Takai he then added:
“As the game nears completion, the team has turned its attention to debugging and finishing touches. Now that everything is taking shape, the game is turning out to be something special. “
