Pixel smartphones will have new security features in the coming days. According to what was anticipated by XDA-Developers and Android Police, the phones will be able to record video automatically when the built-in emergency SOS is active. Apparently, the smartphone can record up to a maximum of 45 minutes, assuming you have enough memory available. In case you have an internet connection, the video will automatically be backed up to your Google account, and then archived after seven days.

And that’s not all. If you set your Pixel smartphone to send the link to the video file to all emergency contacts, the device will do so automatically. In short, through the Personal Security App you can manage these functions as you see fit. To activate the Emergency SOS, all you have to do is press the power button 5 times.
