The Sandbox announced the acquisition of qualitan Uruguayan company expert in videogames, to improve their innovative skills in the field Web3 e blockchain. After a collaboration between the two companies for over a year, this strategic move approaches the arrival of the metaverse.

The acquisition transforms the South American team into The Sandbox Uruguay. But the brothers Martin e Frederico Perezco-founders of Cualit, will continue to manage the team, which will grow thanks to additional resources and infrastructure.

The team now merged into The Sandbox Uruguay has been working for ten years to decentralize the technology industry in Uruguay.
