After fantasy football and fantasy baseball, Sister launches its own league today fantasy basketballannouncing a multi-year partnership with NBA (National Basketball Association) e la NBPA (National Basketball Players Association). The agreement makes the platform an official partner for the fantasy game dedicated to basketball.
We can therefore expect that, with the start of the new NBA season in the fall, the Sorare fantasy basketball league will also arrive, with free-to-play collectible digital cards with official license.
“The game will give fans a new opportunity to interact with the world of basketball and compete with other fans through a unique fantasy game experience” reads the press release. The fantabasket will offer users the opportunity to create a formation of collectible cards (based on NFT) that represent their favorite players and their favorite teams. Users will then get points based on the actual performance of NBA players. As part of the partnership, Sorare will have the right to use the official logos of the league and NBA teams in its products.
