The sponsor does not pay: Inter eliminates him from the official shirt

The agreement between the main sponsor, Digitalbits, and Inter is worth 85 million euros for the next four years. Despite the signed contracts, however, Digitalbits has not yet paid the first installment of what is due. Inter’s reaction was immediate. The name of the new main sponsor has been removed from the official jersey pending the regularization of payments. Here are the details on the matter:

Until last season, Digitalbits was the “sleeve” sponsor of Inter and the brand appeared, in small size, on the sleeve of the game uniform. Things should change this year con an agreement worth 85 million euros in four years that makes Digitalbits the main sponsor of the Nerazzurri.

At the moment, however, thecompany has not yet paid the first installment. While waiting to understand if there will be the payment, Inter have chosen to obscure their new sponsor, deleting him from the game shirt. It should be noted that the sponsor’s name should also disappear from the scoreboards and from all materials related to the team that finished the championship in second place.

For now, it is unclear how much the non-payment by Digitalbits amounts to. Certainly, however, the issue will not go unnoticed. The company is expected to clarify its position shortly. We will know more in the coming weeks.
