The third season of Riders Republic, called Summer Break, is starting today on Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5 and PC (via Ubisoft Store and Epic Games Store). The new season brings with it numerous summer and sustainability-themed news, such as the special event Reforestation. Let’s find out all the news below.
The new season begins with the launch of the new special event called Project Rebirth (which provides Reforestation). This will last until August 10, and was born as a proposal last year, on the occasion of the Green Game Jam 2021. After all, we have already talked about Ubisoft’s clear intention to create environmental sustainability-themed events. The Green Game Jam 2021 initiative was born with the desire to create events or game modes focused on raising awareness of the environment, promoted by United Nations Environmental Programme’s Playing for the Planet Alliance.
In Reforestation, players will be able to plant trees in-game in a deserted area. This will be intended to aid in the reforestation of the area, using a teleportation point that will take you to the base camp.
