The Valet, the comedy starring Samara Weaving and Eugenio Derbez, is coming to Disney Plus on May 20.
Between new films, due out in May on the platform Disney Plushere is one check new romantic comedy original: it is The Valet. The new film, starring Samara Weaving, Eugenio Derbez e Max Greenfieldwill be available in streaming from Friday 20 maggio.
The Valet is the remake of a French film namesake, from 2006, directed by Francis Veber.
Oliviaa movie star world famous, suffers serious damage to its image when is paparazzi in the company of her lovera married man, called Vincent. In the photos taken, Antonio also accidentally appearsa valet who is hired to build a coverage to the woman, posing as her new boyfriend. In a short time, Antonio’s life changes forever. The man finds himself catapulted into the spotlight, in an environment that he never would have imagined reaching. Parallel to him and Olivia, like this distant in lifestylethey begin to get to know each other better, doing imeet two worlds and two apparently distant cultures.
In the cast we find among the protagonists Samara Weaving (Nine Perfect Strangers, 2021) as Olivia, Eugenio Derbez (CODA – The signs of the heart, 2021) in those of Antonio e Max Greenfield (New Girl 2011-2018) in those of Vincent. At their side Betsy Brandt, Carmen Salinas, Amaury Nolasco, Marisol Nichols, Diany Rodriguez, Tiana Okoye, John Pirrucello, Ravi Patel, Naomi Gonzalez e Lunay.
The Valet is directed by Richard Wongdirector of Come As You Are (2019) and written by Rob Greenberg e Bob Fisher (former collaborators in Overboard, 2018). The film is produced by Ben Odell and from the same Eugenio Derbez (3Pas Studios). The soundtrack consists of Heitor Pereira.
On March 31, Eugenio Derbez had announced the launch date by The Velvet, through a nice Instagram post that portrays the actor driving a car, only to be mistaken for a valet.
