The filming of the second season of The Witcher, the fantasy series based on the novels by Andrzej Sapkowski, has just ended

158 days after the start of filming, The Witcher, the fantasy series based on the Geralt of Rivia Saga, by Andrzej Sapkowski, has finished the production of the second season, which will be available in all countries where Netflix is ​​active by the end of 2021.

Filming took place in 15 locations across the UK and involved 89 cast members and around 1,200 crew members. Impressive numbers, if we also consider the obstacles due to the health emergency during the production phase

On the last day of filming, Netflix released a special video taken from the set, which shows the enthusiasm of the cast and crew – led by showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich – at the idea of ​​having completed the filming of the highly anticipated second chapter of The Witcher.

The video highlights attempts to be careful during filming, with the crew constantly using protective clothing and Cavill himself handing out masks to all crew members.
