The days until the departure of the Gamescom 2022an unmissable event for gaming lovers, which this year will also host the vast community of TikTok. The annual Gamescom will be staged at Coloniain Germany, from 24 to 28 August 2022, for four days of immersion in the videogame world.
With its community of enthusiasts, it’s no coincidence that TikTok takes part in the event. In fact, the hashtags used on the platform relating to the videogame world are constantly increasing. Some examples? Just think that #Gaming has about 284.5 billion views, followed by #GamingOnTikTok (16 billion), #GamingSetup (9.85 billion) e #GamingLife (7.1 billion).

TikTok’s presence at this year’s Gamescom will feature a wide range of entertainment, both in presence and on the platform. In Cologne there will be stages and pods, where numerous and popular creators will broadcast live streaming for the audience at home. Some of the names announced are: @kaatsup, @itsnickandcam, @jasmingnu, @youneszarou, @luis_feitag_ and @annitheduck. Among the Italian creators protagonists of the event there will also be Curoliles (@kurolilystream)
These will obviously compete in challenges on various videogame titles, all strictly streaming on TikTok.
The community following the event on TikTok will be able to get a first preview look at some popular video games such as Street Fighter 6, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Cowabunga Collection, Sonic Frontiers, CYGNI and MultiVersus. Finally TikTok will launch a brand new effect called “Your Gamer Name”.
