We’ve arrived at the month we’ve all been waiting for… obviously we’re talking about December, the month that justifies every special purchase! Let’s see immediately what’s new to play during the holidays: whether it’s a gift for you or for a loved one, you will surely find inspiration.

Let’s start with the new arrivals. Among the proposals for December 2022 we point out The Callisto Protocol, survival horror made by the creators of Dead Space that seems to share the game world with the MMO shooter PUBG. Set on Callisto, a moon of Jupiter, you will take on the role of a prisoner fighting for survival: there is a strange alien invasion underway, and many things don’t add up… Will you be able to save yourself and unravel the mystery of this attack?

The second title we want to talk about is Hello Neighbor 2! The first episode, released in 2017, attracted the public thanks to a very particular mix of horror atmospheres, cartoon graphic style and a plot narrated in bites and pieces. We’ll see what this sequel is capable of adding to the story!

For Marvel enthusiasts, there is one of the best video games out there Marvel’s Midnight Suns! An interesting experiment – a turn-based strategy game with a card system for summoning devastating attacks. In addition to combat, you’ll be able to build relationships with your teammates in a series of quests and side conversations.

Among the new arrivals of December 2022 there are also decidedly quieter video games. Between these Dragon Quest Treasures, which follows the difficult childhoods of Erik (the thief who appears in Dragon Quest XI, remember?) and his sister Mia. The twins will find themselves catapulted to Draconia, a legendary island inhabited by extraordinary creatures… and full of treasures to plunder! Erik and Mia, however, are not the only ones who want to recover those treasures: a long series of rivals and enemies awaits the two adventurers!

Now let’s talk about AKA, an adventure starring an adorable red panda as he explores a lush and peaceful game world and helps its inhabitants in need. It is certainly suitable for the little ones, but we are sure that it will be a relaxing interlude even for the more mature players.

Finally, among the best video games out there is also High on Life, where an intergalactic bounty hunter will find himself repelling an alien invasion with a series of tools that are, to say the least… questionable. The game is the brainchild of Justin Roiland, author of Rick and Morty, so we will definitely see some good ones!

For the section “Welcome returns” we point out Romancing SaGa: Minstrel Song Remastered, remastered version of the Square Enix RPG of the same name. The title was originally released for the PlayStation 2 in 2005, and although it has its admirers it is not a title known to most, let alone the younger ones. If you haven’t had the chance to play it, this is an excellent opportunity!

Also coming Crisis Core: Final Fantasy VII Reunion, remake of the title originally released on PSP in 2007 and which closes the touching story of the relationship between Cloud and his Mentor Zack, of which you will play the role. To conclude, among the best video games of December 2022 there could only be him: The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt by Projekt Red, finally on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X… it certainly needs no introduction, right?
