Twitch Rivals: Zero Build Showdown ft Fortnite, rules and prize pool!

Let’s see together the rules and prize pools of the new Twitch Rivals appointment dedicated to Fortnite: the Zero Build Showdown will take place tomorrow evening, let’s find out all the details together

The Zero Construction mode of Fortnite, born as a simple and temporary experiment, has been so successful that Epic Games itself has decided to listen to the wishes of the fans and add it permanently to the game, as a separate mod. And after a very successful first Twitch Rivals (here you will find the final results and the winning teams), the appointment returns tomorrow evening, April 30, at 7 pm Italian time for a new Fortnite competition. The Zero Build Showdown is a tournament consisting of three separate competitions, one for each region of the globe, and will start as per the following scheme (the times are all referred to our time zone):

  • EMEA regions: 7 pm on April 30th
  • Latin America: 1 am on May 1st
  • North America: 11 pm on May 1st

They will compete 33 teams made up of three players, for a total of 99 players for each region. The chosen mode is the Battle Royale Trio, Zero Constructions, and the matches will be played using custom match keys. In total, six games will be played for each region and the following mechanics will be banned for all matches in the event:

  • Tanks
  • Tents
  • Armored battle buses

Rules and prize pools: let’s discover the Twitch Rivals Zero Build Showdown ft Fortnite

Teams will earn points based on both eliminations and placement in each match, i tiebreakers will be the following:

  • Total number of Royal Victories
  • Average eliminations for each game
  • Average ranking for each game
  • Positioning in the final match

Each elimination will guarantee 1 point, while the placement scores will be attributed as follows:

  • Royal victory: 18 points
  • 2nd-5th place: 15 points
  • 6th -10th place: 12 points
  • 11th-15th place: 9 points
  • 16th -20th place: 6 points
  • 21st-25th place: 3 points
  • 26th + place: 0 points

This was the tournament rules, while the Total final prize pool of the tournament is $ 300,000, $ 100,000 for each region, which will obviously be divided for all the teams participating in the Twitch Rivals Zero Build Showdown ft Fortnite. The winning team will be awarded $ 21,000.
