Already at the beginning of the year, there were rumors that the Twitter app was at work to allow creators to open Exclusive spaces for their “super followers”. And now, it seems, the platform has finally succeeded in its intent. In fact, an option will soon be implemented that will allow “Super Follows” creators to start one private audio chat with paying followers only.

Twitter Spaces: the exclusive chats for Super Follows arrive

For the uninitiated, with the option Super Follows Twitter creators can offer access to some exclusive tweets to users who sign up for a subscription. Now, apparently, subscribers will also be able to access some Twitter Spaces esclusivi. The platform thus launches “Space for Super Follows”, an option slightly different from “Ticketed Spaces“. The latter, in fact, allows all users to charge a fixed cost to each person who wishes to enter the audio chat. In any case, as different as they are, it is clear that both functions are a useful way to implement monetization on the platform.

In this regard, however, it must be considered that the Super Follows function is only available for users in the United States. Here, creators who want to apply for the program must meet very specific criteria: being 18 years old, having at least 10,000 followers and having published a minimum of 25 tweets in the last 30 days. Once in the program, creators will be able to charge users $ 2.99, $ 4.99, or $ 9.99 for the monthly subscription. And now, finally, beyond the tweets, creators will finally be able to also offer exclusive Twitter Spaces to their subscribers. Not a bad idea, don’t you think?
