The animated film is finally available on Netflix Vivo, the exceptional animated musical story of courage, a sense of family and the representation of the unifying power of music. Directed by Kirk DeMicco, was presented in Italian preview last July 31st at Giffoni Film Festival.
Enriched in the Italian version by two exceptional voices such as Massimo Lopez (in the role of Andrés in the songs and dialogues) e Stash (plays all the songs of the protagonist Vivo).
Vivo, a friendly tropical forest dweller, spends his days playing music in a lively square in Havana alongside his beloved owner Andrés. Despite the big difference between the two, Vivo e Andrés they are a perfect duo thanks to the passion for music that unites them. A great tragedy strikes the two young people shortly after the invitation of the famous singer Marta Sandoval. It will be up to Vivo to deliver the message that Andrés has always kept secret: a love letter to Marta, written long ago in the form of a song. To be able to reach the goal he will not be alone, but he will have to accept the help of Gabi, an energetic girl with her own rhythm.
Scripted by Quiara Alegria Hudes, is manufactured by Lisa Stewart (Monsters vs Aliens), Michelle Wong (Hotel Transylvania 2) and Oscar winner Rich Moore (Zootropolis). The visual consultancy is entrusted to the Oscar winner Roger Deakins (Blade Runner 2049).
