Viz Media: a YouTube channel is born to watch free anime!

Viz Media has partnered with YouTube to bring hundreds of free streaming anime series to the platform: let’s find out all the details together

Each subscription streaming service has its own section dedicated to Japanese anime: from Netflix to Prime Video, passing through the monothematic Crunchyroll and VVVVID, the diffusion of Japanese animated series has now become widespread. One of the main companies that deals with editing and distribution of manga and anime is Viz Media, which has recently entered into an agreement with YouTube for the broadcasting of series and films via a free channel on the red platform souls that are part of its catalog.

Da Death Note, a Naruto, passando per Sailor Moon, Inuyasha e Hunter x Hunter: these are just a few of the many franchises whose rights are held by Viz Media. Surely the choice to refer to YouTube for the creation of a special channel where to broadcast free anime is not new, not even in Italy where we find for example Yamato Video. In short, an excellent opportunity for all those who want to enjoy, free of charge, the animated counterparts of the manga that are part of the Viz Media catalogue.

Viz Media launches its offer of free original language anime series on YouTube!

Currently the series made available on the Viz Media channel are:

  • Death Note (37 episodi)
  • Hunter x Hunter (Seasons 1-3, 148 episodes)
  • Inuyasha (Complete Series and Movie)
  • Mr. Osomatsu (Stageni 1-2, 50 episodes)
  • Naruto (Seasons 1-8, 220 episodes)
  • Sailor Moon (Complete Series)

I am also available some Anime Movies in a special playlistwhich includes franchises such as Accel World, Tiger & Bunny, K, Infini-T Force and Mazinger Z. Both series and films are in their original language with English subtitles.

Unfortunately, everything is not yet available in Italy and is currently restricted to the American market, so if you want to take advantage of the complete Viz Media catalog on YouTube to watch different anime series in free streaming… you will have to rely on a VPN. Let us know what you think of this initiative below in the comments and stay tuned with us at TechGameWorld.com for all the news on cinema and TV series!
