Watch the new story trailer for Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

In anticipation of the release of Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty, publisher KOEI TECMO Europe and developers Team NINJA today released the first story trailer for the game. The video shows us not only the majestic dark fantasy fights but also the demon-infested environments that characterize the game.

The title will be officially available starting from 3 March 2023 on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 5 and PC (via Steam). The game will also be included from day one on the Xbox Game Pass catalog for consoles and PCs.

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is set in the late Han Dynasty of the Three Kingdoms. The fights and cut scenes were supervised by Kenji Tanigaki, Cinematics Director of the game, already famous for directing the films of the Rurouni Kenshin saga. The plot will follow the story of a soldier who is faced with a conspiracy. This revolves around a powerful elixir, capable of conferring mysterious powers. Along the way the soldier will encounter countless demons and monsters as well as famous warlords and military masterminds from history, including Liu Bei, Cao Cao and Sun Jian.

The development team also revealed that those who purchase the physical or digital version of the game by March 16th will receive the special “Baihu Armor”. Those who pre-order the game in digital format will have access to an early purchase bonus in addition to the pre-order bonus: “Zhuque Armor”. Finally, a limited edition SteelBook will be available at launch. This includes a collector’s box and the “Crown of Zhurong” and “Crown of Gonggong” bonus DLCs.
