WhatsApp improves Windows app

WhatsApp announced the arrival of a new desktop app for Windows. A new version, which loads faster and allows group video calls up to 8 people and audio calls up to 32 people. The new app offers more stability, using fewer resources and abandoning the Electron framework. A complete re-engineering, of which it seems that the Meta development team is particularly proud, as reported by Mark Zuckerberg on his social channels.

WhatsApp has announced a faster loading time and an interface that more closely resembles the mobile version of the app.

Also, the app now supports group video calls with up to 8 people and audio calls with up to 32 people. Note that WhatsApp plans to increase these limits in the future to make conversations even easier.
