With these simple adjustments you will make the Hogwarts Legacy camera go much smoother

Room of Requirement at Hogwarts Legacy: where it is, what it is and everything you can do with it

You sure can’t let go of the controller with Hogwarts Legacy. And, frankly, we don’t blame you, because the Avalanche and Warner Bros game is addictive like few others. We fully understand that it is one of the most popular games on Steam and Twitch, as well as number 1 in sales.

However, Hogwarts Legacy it’s not a perfect game. Avalanche has released a patch on Xbox and PC (it will be out soon on PS5) that fixes a lot of bugs, but that’s not where the shots go…

If there is something that does not convince us so much about the title, it is undoubtedly the camera. Sometimes it seems that it is going ”in slow motion”, with an effect that in many situations can be a nuisance.

But don’t worry, because with this simple configuration adjustment you can correct it. We teach you how to solve this problem in Hogwarts Legacy, available on PS5, Xbox Series X | S and PC.

Hogwarts Legacy Chamber Improvement Tweaks

If we had to highlight one aspect of Hogwarts Legacy that could be improved, it would undoubtedly be the camera. Not because it’s confusing or because the perspective isn’t right, but because sometimes it seems that it goes with “delay”, like jerks.

It’s part of the natural effect of Hogwarts Legacy. While exploration isn’t particularly annoying, the truth is that we can’t say the same for combat.

The good thing is that it can be corrected in a few minutes. Hogwarts Legacy has a complete configuration menuwith lots of accessibility options and adjustments of all kinds.

In this guide we show you how to correct the effect of the camera, making it much smoother for certain game situations.

To correct the Hogwarts Legacy camera you must follow these steps:

  1. From the Hogwarts Legacy main menu, tap settings (Y button on Xbox, Triangle on PS).
  2. Go down to the tab game options.
  3. Hover over camera accelerationwhich will default to 1.
  4. Lower the indicator to 0 in camera acceleration.
  5. Choose camera sensitivitywhose indicator will be 1 by default.
  6. We recommend setting it to 1.5, although you can try various configurations.
  7. Close the settings to apply the changes.

After making these changes, you will notice that now the camera moves more fluidlywithout jerks at certain moments of the action.

You can improve it even more if you choose Hogwarts Legacy Performance mode. This option prioritizes the fps (frames per second) of the game, before the resolution (the opposite is the Quality mode).

This way you will be able to play Hogwarts Legacy in a much more agile and fluid way, even if you lose some technical detail. The settings are available for all Warner and Avalanche versions of the title.
