Xbox and Microsoft were probably the great absentees from the show and the ceremony of The Game Awards 2022. A ceremony which, in addition to rewarding the best games of the last year, was the scene of many announcements and updates on various titles in development. From Death Stranding 2 to Hades 2 passing through Final Fantasy XVI but, unless they were titles cross-platform, from the point of view of exclusive the Redmond giant was absent. Recent rumors, however, suggest one Xbox showcase scheduled for early 2023.

According to the latest rumors and the latest rumors relating to Microsoft and al Xbox worlda new showcase dedicated would be scheduled for the beginning of 2023, in the coming months that we will meet. This news was fueled by several insiders and even the Xbox exec Aaron Greenberg who, after the TGA 2022 announced: “Xbox has many shows planned for 2023”. Besides him, the well-known insider Jesus Corden has confirmed that Xbox-branded events will see the light very soon.

There is really a lot of irons in the fire at Microsoft and there are many news and updates expected on the major titles in development which, on balance, represent the line-up of the most awaited exclusives. Titles like Starfield, Forza Motorsport and Redfall are scheduled for next spring; but also games like Avowed, Perfect Dark, Hellblade 2, need updates and news that reassure the fans and those who await them.
