The next title of the famous Ubisoft saga could arrive later than expected. After being officially announced during the Ubisoft Forward last September, Assassin’s Creed Mirage immediately aroused the interest of fans of the series, but now, according to a recent rumor, it seems that the release date may have been postponed. However, it seems that the delay will not be much, as the game is still scheduled for 2023.
The new awaited chapter, although it is chronologically the successor of Valhalla (of which you can find our review at this link), turns out to be more of a sort of return to origins for the brand. Currently expected for a generic 2023, as a celebratory title of the 15th anniversary of the series, the game should have settings and mechanics with clear references to the progenitor of the saga, thus renouncing the RPG elements that arrived only with the last chapters.
Rumors wanted the publication of the awaited title during next spring, but now things could change. According to a new rumor published by journalist Tom Henderson, in fact, the release of Assassin’s Creed Mirage would have been internally postponed. The postponement does not seem to be much, fortunately, and the game should see the light during the summer of 2023.
