AGCOM should impose on DAZN a series of changes for its service. In particular, the streaming platform dedicated to the world of sport should integrate it speed test Misurainternet within its applications. This speed test can be used to check for any connection problems and identify the cause.
The system will work very simply. In case of problems, DAZN customers will be able to use AGCOM’s Misrainternet speed test (which will be integrated into the service app) to check if the connection problem is related to the network offered by your provider or DAZN systems. The test will allow to identify the “culprit” of the malfunction.
In the event that the responsibility lies with DAZN, the user will have the possibility to start the procedure to obtain a reimbursement of 7.5 euros per week (therefore 29.99 euros per month as the fee requested by DAZN for the monthly subscription).
Note that DAZN will be obliged to offer a customer service via chat with human operators and not through bots. Furthermore, the company may also have to provide a assistance channel via telephone. More details on the news coming to DAZN should arrive at the meeting scheduled for next January 20 with AGCOM. We will also see what the timing for the integration of the new functions in the app will be.
