The new RTX 4080 it was the first card in the last two years that didn’t sell out as soon as it came out. This claim was made by HardwareCanucks, which has been closely monitoring the Canadian video card market. However this situation is not isolated to the Canada, but to many other regions.

A well-known youtuber, Bitwitkyle, then decided to create a content on a build of the 4080. However, instead of actually testing the card, he decided to compare it to the build AMD Ryzen e Radeon. The only problem was that no 4080 was actually connected (simply because there was no longer enough budget).

This video however, in its sympathy, is a perfect example of why this 4080 struggles to sell at this price point. It’s so expensive, in fact, that enthusiasts will choose one anyway 4090 since in practice there is no solution of the series RTX 40 for less than a thousand euros.

The system suggested by youtube is already good as it is. However it is still possible to modify some parts to save enough to be able to afford one 6900 XT. For the same price, basically, you can build a build with 6900 XT, Ryzen 5 5600 X1GB of memory DDR4-3600 and a power supply from 700W.
