E3 2021: Prince of Persia Remake salterà l’Ubisoft Forward

Ubisoft has made it known, through the official Twitter profile of the franchise, that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will not be present at the next Ubisoft Forward to be held during E3 2021

Announced at a Ubisoft Forward conference last year, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake had a lot of fan talk due to its ambiguous nature. On the one hand, the return of the Prince had seemed like a mirage for all the fans who, after the 2008 title, had seen a really interesting franchise set aside. On the other, the technical reality of what Ubisoft showed horrified anyone, even those who are less accustomed to the industry, causing a series of excuses and justifications that little could be believed. The game has already been postponed once in last December, and subsequently again at a later date. In short, a decidedly not crackling start for this Remake, and apparently the bad news does not seem to stop.

Through the official Twitter profile of the franchise, in fact, Ubisoft has made it known to the general public that Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will not participate in the next Ubisoft Forward. The conference will be held next Saturday, June 12, starting at 21 Italian time and the probable announcements are so many. The first official denial arrived just a little while ago, however, as you can read from the tweet we leave you below.

Prince of Persia Remake can’t make it and skips E3 2021 (luckily?)

The development team, in this message, dismantles any possibility of seeing any improvements for the title at the next Ubisoft Forward. Apparently, though, steps are being taken and they hope to finally be able to release it on the market over the next year. We hope to be able to see him in much better clothes than we have been able to see up to now! The game has been confirmed for now on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC, even if rumors wanted it to arrive on Nintendo Switch as well.

In short, Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake will not be part of the line up of the next Ubisoft Forward E3 2021. A bit sorry, in fact, but rather than seeing the prince in those conditions we are happy to wait again a little’. What do you think of it?
