Fortnite is back but still won’t be able to enter theApp Store. Microsoft is focusing heavily on cloud gaming, so it makes sense for the company to partner with Epic Games, one of the rare gaming companies that owns a cross-platform online multiplayer successful. It is also a useful one defensive position against Apple on an issue that has already created a rift between companies.

Apparently, Apple thwarted Microsoft’s plans to launch a ‘applicazione all-in-one per iOS Xbox Cloud Gaming requiring that individual games be downloaded separately – a restriction that explains why Microsoft is pointing people to the browser Safari to play Fortnite instead of the App Store.
