From today on Netflix the collection “Together for our planet”

From today available on Netflix “Together for our planet”, a new collection of sustainability stories.

Each story has the ability to inspire people: that of our planet is an epic reflection on our present time. The creators tell it in very different ways on Netflix: through a director’s friendship with an octopus in the Oscar-winning documentary My Friend at the Bottom of the Sea, or through Zac’s travels in Zac Efron: Down to Earth.

To help subscribers discover some of these extraordinary stories and better understand what’s happening to the planet, Netflix has selected more than thirty of them in a collection called “Together for Our Planet” (Together for our planet). This collection is available from today, in preparation for world summit on climate change United Nations COP26.

Leaders from around the world will gather in Glasgow to renew their commitments towards creating a healthier and healthier planet. But you don’t have to be a world leader to be part of the solution, so the people at COP26 have teamed up with Netflix to create this collection.

Subscribers can see it here or wherever they watch Netflix, to experience firsthand just how intense and diverse the stories about the environment can be. These films, series and specials range from the irrefutable beauty of Earth’s life support systems such as Our Planet to climate change research from Pushing the Limits: The Science of Our Planet. The collection also includes compelling thrillers like Ragnarok, Green Frontier and IO. Headlines like Minimalism: Less Is Now show us encouraging ways to be more responsible in our daily lives, while Penguin Village and Izzy in Koala World entertain the whole family.

What is Netflix doing for the climate?

Six months ago, Netflix announced its commitment to the Zero Emissions + Nature program. The goal is to reach a level of zero net greenhouse gas emissions by the end of 2022 and to maintain it all subsequent years. The zero emissions target is a long-lasting challenge, but Netflix is moving quickly to make the necessary changes and lay the groundwork to minimize our long-term impact through 2030 and beyond.’From today on Netflix the collection “Together for our planet”‘ width=”1200″ height=”660” src=”https://www.TechGameWorld.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/05/netflix-immagine.jpg”>
