Ad day for Amazon which has just introduced the third generation of Fire TV Cube and the new Alexa Pro voice remote control, which includes the new Find My Remote feature and a set of customizable buttons.
The new generation of Fire TV Cube, Amazon’s streaming media player can count on a 2.0 GHz octa-core processor increases performance by 20%. This means apps that open faster and are more fluent in daily use, improving an already excellent user experience.
The inevitable HDMI input is available, to connect decoders, Blu-ray players and the like, and an additional USB port that can support compatible webcams to allow you to perform video calls via Alexa Communications: Just say “Alexa, call mom” to connect with family or friends from the largest screen at home.
On board also the support to the Wi-Fi 6E e an ethernet port for wired connection.
On the new Fire TV Cube then comes the Super Resolution Upscalingwhich offers better image quality by effortlessly converting HD content to 4K for greater sharpness, contrast and clarity.
Great attention is also paid to accessibility with support for audio streaming for hearing aids (ASHA), which allows customers to directly connect compatible Bluetooth hearing aids.
The new Fire TV Cube is available today for pre-order at the price of 159,99 €.
Alexa Pro is Amazon’s new voice remote control and yes, losing it now will be virtually impossible. You can in fact say “Alexa, find my remote”Or use the dedicated Remote Finder button in the Fire TV app to activate the Alexa Pro speaker and find it again thanks to the sound emitted.
However, this is not the only novelty. They arrive two customizable buttons for quick access to your favorite content and Alexa commands. For example, you can use them to open your favorite app on the fly or have Amazon’s voice assistant dim the lights, check the weather, or start your movie night routine.
We finally have the backlightactivated in this case by movement: when you lift it in dark environments, it activates to help you find the various keys.
The Alexa Pro Voice Remote is compatible with most Fire TV media players, with various TVs, soundbars, and A / V receivers.

Amazon finally updates Echo Show 15which you can now count on Fire TV. This means that you will be able to access all the contents of the Fire TV, including Prime Video, Netflix, Disney + apps and more.
Also available is the new Fire TV widget with which you can view shortcuts for recently used streaming apps, the latest content watched or the list of programs to watch.
Interaction with the Fire TV will be possible via touchscreen, with the custom virtual remote control or by pairing a third generation Fire TV remote control.
