It’s official: the 2022 eFootball Championship will be in June

Konami has announced that the official eSports competition eFootball Championship 2022, will be held in June. It will be an eSports competition open to many different players, from beginners to elite, and which has changed its identity following the rebranding the video game went through during its latest main release.

Specifically, this year there will be two competitions: eFootball Championship Pro 2022 e eFootball Championship Open 2022. The first, as the name suggests, is dedicated to professional athletes, under contract by European clubs, while the second will be open to all, upon registration by the deadline.

As per tradition, all matches will be broadcast live on Konami’s official channels, and the various teams will compete in the mode Dream Team. In this game mode, the teams with the highest scores will win, which in this way will earn the right to access the highest levels of the tournament up to the coveted World Finals.

“Dream Team” is the brand new game mode introduced with the latest installment of the franchise in which users can build an original team by signing players and managers, using in-game items and competing against other users from all over the world. The users they can also develop and strengthen their players to match their individual playing styles, as well as organize their team through player signing and development.
