LEGO: the new LGBTQIA + set arrives to celebrate diversity

The LEGO Group today announces the LGBTQIA + “Everyone is Wonderful” set, designed to celebrate the diversity among LEGO fans and the world around us

The new buildable show model is inspired by the iconic rainbow flag, used as a symbol of love and acceptance by the LGBTQIA + community, and presents 11 monochrome minifigures, each with their own hairstyle and rainbow color. The set designer Matthew Ashton, Vice President of Design for the LEGO Group, said:

I wanted to create a model that symbolizes inclusion and celebrates everyone, no matter how they identify or who they love. Everyone is unique, and with a little more love, acceptance and understanding in the world, we can all feel freer to be WONDERFUL ourselves! This model shows that we care, and that we truly believe that we are all Fantastic.
