MINI has announced the arrival of the new MINI Rockingham GT Edition. This is a limited edition that aims to celebrate the heritage of the racing world of the MINI brand and the high level of performance of the John Cooper Works Clubman. The new special series arrives on the Italian market in a “limited edition” version with 50 specimens available to customers.
The starting point of the project is the MINI John Cooper Works Clubman. The new MINI Rockingham GT Edition can count on the thrust of the four-cylinder 2.0 TwinPower Turbo and is capable of delivering a maximum power of 306 CV with a maximum drive torque of 450 Nm.
Thanks to the thrust of the four-cylinder, the Rockingham GT Edition takes 4.9 seconds to complete the 0-100 km / h sprint. The maximum speed is self-limited to 250 km / h. Noteworthy is the launch control function of the 8-speed Steptronic Sport gearbox, included as standard. Also present is the ALL4 all-wheel drive system.
The new special series can be ordered in different colors. The Rockingham GT Edition, in fact, is available in versions White Silver, Chili Red, Midnight Black e Moonwalk Grey. The paintwork is combined with the roof and rear-view mirror caps as well as for the handles and headlight surrounds. Do not miss the GT logo, both on the bodywork and on the dashboard.
