NACON: Steelrising and Lord of the Rings: Gollum trailers arrive

NACON is happy to share the new trailers for two of its most anticipated games: Steelrising e The Lord of the Rings ™: Gollum ™, revealed exclusively during The Game Awards that took place last night in Los Angeles.
Through the new videos of the ambitious souls-like developed by Spiders, this new trailer from Steelrising shows King Louis XVI’s obsession with automata by highlighting Aegis, the protagonist of the game. An automaton formerly dedicated to dancing for the pleasure of the court, Aegis is now a warrior and the bodyguard of Marie Antoinette. Appointed by the queen, Aegis will have to survive in a Paris teeming with cars. Each fight with these mechanical enemies is a challenge where the player’s skills are subjected to tremendous tests. Such is the price to pay for those who want to change the course of history.

Steelrising depicts an alternate version of the story in 1789: what would have happened if King Louis XVI, a lover of watchmaking, had built an army of robots capable of appeasing the anger of the people? Powerful and cruel, this army spares no one and violently punishes the rebels. Paris burns and bleeds. Men, women and children are systematically massacred.

In this new cinematic trailer unveiled by Daedalic Entertainment e NACON, the struggle between the two personalities of Sméagol e Gollum is constant and you can see how they interact against each other in this small preview of the stealth-action adventure due out in 2022. Coming to PC, PlayStation®4, PlayStation®5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S e Nintendo Switch, The Lord of the Rings ™: Gollum ™ offers a brand new perspective, while remaining true to the outlined vision of The Lord of the Rings.

The Lord of the Rings ™: Gollum ™ is a action-adventure driven by history, where players take on the role of Gollum to regain his precious lost ring. They have to climb, jump and sneak through dangerous areas, avoid getting caught and try to keep the advantage. Gollum is skilled and shrewd, but also struggled by his dual personality. It’s up to you to decide whether the darker side of Gollum takes over or whether there’s a spark of reason left in what was once Sméagol.
