New World: The near future of the game is as a PC exclusive

Amazon seems willing to do everything to make New World an optimal work, coming to not compromise of any kind, even if it means a postponement of the release date or a temporary exclusivity on PC.

As we have seen in the last two days, the first videogame success Jeff Bezos’ company, New World, has not been able to hold up to the anxious expectations built up by players regarding the technical aspect, as many people fail not even to access the game due to the very long queues present in the servers. Although an expansion of the capabilities of the New World servers and the quantity of them has been announced, this will only benefit PC players, who will have the game in their hands exclusively, at least as regards the near future of the title.

New World PC exclusive: so close but so far

Currently, the period in which New World will take place even on consoles instead of being only on PC, it is therefore not yet known. Amazon stated, through the response to a tweet begging to make the game available for other platforms, that in the immediate future New World will be a PC exclusive, thus leading console users to have to resign themselves to waiting for a strongly period. unspecified time before being able to join the MMO more in vogue of the moment.

But all in all it must be noted that, with the problem of queues to access New World still present, stating this at this time could be a move that will lead those who believed they had enough patience in waiting for a release on other platforms to give up and try to enter in PC gaming, thus inevitably increasing the burden on servers. It may be, however, that this decision was made in order to make satisfactory optimization, so as to reduce for the moment the work of the team and the negative experiences of the players once the game lands on consoles.
