NVIDIA LHRv3 unlock coming soon for GeForce RTX 30 series

Just two weeks after the announcement of the crack of LHRv2, the anti-crypto from NVDIA, the notice of the release of NVIDIA LHRv3 at 90% arrives

We have already talked about the upcoming release of video cards NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 e GeForce RTX 3080advertised to users through the campaign “Ready and in stock”. Following the news, the statement from the developers of NiceHash which can make the purchase of these new branded jewels even more attractive NVIDIAconcerning the 90% unlocking of the anti-crypto algorithm LHRv3. But will it really matter? Let’s find out together.

LHR (Lite Hash Rate)

LHR (Lite Hash Rate) is an anti-encryption algorithm implemented in graphics cards NVDIA GeForce RTX 30 series which limits the potential of mining of cryptocurrencies, resolving hashcodes more slowly. Currently, the algorithms LHRv1 e LHRv2 they have already been fully unlocked, without the need for special hardware.

NVIDIA GeForce serie 30 e LHRv3

Graphics cards GeForce RTX 3050 8GB e GeForce RTX 3080 12GB host the new version of the anti-crypto functionality. The unlocking of the algorithm NVIDIA LHRv3 had not yet been announced, but evidently it is not proving to be a major problem for the developers of NiceHash.

NiceHash QuickMiner

In order to earn some money by exploiting cryptocurrencies, it is necessary to do some trading or trading miningand as we all know the GPU of video cards lends itself perfectly to achieving this second goal. QuickMiner v0.5.4.2 RC is software produced by NiceHash which allows you to carry out the miningand this explains the interest in unlocking NVDIA LHR3 by the group of developers! The software requires the NVIDIA 512.15 driver, or newer, as a minimum requirement for use.

Too late for mining?

Unlocking the anti-cryptocurrency algorithm it probably comes too late to matter. Most cryptocurrencies mined through GPU usage have lost a significant portion of their value, to the point where it is simply not profitable to mine, or the return on investment will take much longer. So if you are interested in buying one NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3050 entry-level, we do not recommend doing this for LHRv3 unlocking only and therefore to carry out mining.

What do you think of it? Is it still worthwhile to mine cryptocurrencies? Let us know in the comments and keep following TechGameWorld.com to stay up to date on the hi-teh world!
