QNAP Systems, Inc. today introduced the compact and versatile TBS-464 NASbook designed for small workspaces, smart working and mobility. Using quattro SSD M.2 NVMe for storage, the TBS-464 supporta HybridMount which can manage storage from the cloud and allow for local cache, to give you the ability to work with files online at the same speed as local files.

Multifunctional and quiet, the QNAP NASbook TBS-464 delivers due uscite HDMI 2.0 4K a 60Hz, hardware-accelerated transcoding and streaming, and QNAP KoiMeeter, for wireless video conferencing and presentations. With two 2.5GbE ports, the TBS-464 NASbook can achieve speeds of up to 5Gbps with port trunking. Joseph Ching, QNAP Product Manager, adds:

The TBS-464 NASbook packs great performance and comprehensive business applications into a small, portable size. By seamlessly integrating cloud storage spaces, the TBS-464 offers the combined benefits of portability and storage flexibility to enhance the capabilities of modern offices and studios. With the ability to locally cache cloud-based files, users can enjoy the same access speed as in a LAN environment.

The QNAP NASbook TBS-464 is managed by a processor Intel Celeron N5105/ N5095 quad-core 4-thread (fino a 2,9 GHz) with encryption engine Intel AES-NI, 8 GB DDR4 memory and 3.2 Gen 1 USB ports for faster data transfers. In addition to having an optimized user interface, it features the QTS 5 operating system, for a state-of-the-art user experience. HBS (Hybrid Backup Sync) offers efficient local / remote / local backup processes; block-based snapshots make data protection and recovery easier and more effective, limiting ransomware threats; HybridMount offers cloud storage gateways that integrate public and private cloud storage as well as offer local cache.

The QNAP NASbook TBS-464 supports media playback on TV / monitor using two HDMI 2.0 outputs (up to 4K at 60Hz) and convert 4K videos to universal file formats that can be played on various devices. It is also perfect for media streaming using Plex. Used with QNAP KoiMeeter, creates a high quality video conferencing system and enables wireless presentations.

The software

The TBS-464 series is flexible and versatile. You can expand its storage capacity by connecting the TL and TR storage expansion enclosures. Businesses and organizations can take immediate advantage of the various applications of the TBS-464. QmailAgent centralize multiple email accounts; Qmiix integrates an Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) solution that allows applications and devices to be connected to the QNAP NAS; Qfiling automates file organization; Qsirch helps you find all documents quickly.
