QuakeCon 2022: kicks off (online) from 18 to 20 August

QuakeCon 2022 has arrived again this year, but unfortunately it will only be online given the current pandemic situation

We had hoped for a lot, but in the end il Covid – 19 seems to have won this time too. The third edition of the event, QuakeCon 2022, will therefore still be held online from 18 to 20 August. Obviously, it is hoped that everything will return to normal in 2023, but in the meantime this is the case. The word therefore passes to the organizers of the event who wanted to make the necessary clarifications.

The annual celebration of games signed by id Softwarebut also from Bethesda as in the case of Doom in the role of the developers, it will therefore also return this year albeit in an online version given the current situation. In this regard, the organizers of the event stated on Twitter that “an event of this size took months of planning and, in this case, we had to make decisions when there was still too much uncertainty to commit to successfully performing a QuakeCon (2022 ed.) in person ”.
