Sony announces the arrival of a new camera of its own Cinema Linethe ILME FR7. This camera is the first E-mount with interchangeable lens and sensor full–frame to have the function pan tilt zoom (PTZ) incorporated. And there’s also a handy remote control to make shooting in the studio, live and in the cinema easier.

The new ILME-FR7 consolidates Sony’s position in the world of products for the film industry, thanks to its enormous versatility and efficiency when shooting. But it will not only be used in Hollywood or Cinecittà: the live and broadcasting productions who want a cinematic style have found a great ally.

At the same time, especially in the last two years, we have seen a sharp increase in content created remotely or in small locations that are difficult to access. This new camera, FR7, responds to both market trends thanks to its PTZ functions and cinematic features ”.

FR7 ha un 35mm Exmor R back-illuminated full-frame CMOS image sensorwith 10,3 MP actual. It also offers 15+ stop latitude and pan tilt zoom functionality. Wide dynamic range, low noise and cinematic bokeh, plus the ability to expand the‘ISO up to 409600.

Also interesting is the possibility of counting on the range of E-Mount lenses, including the G Master series, with focal length from 12 to 1200mm.

You can also mount it on a tripod, ceiling or in hard-to-reach places. To then operate it with the Sony RM-IP500 remote controlwhich is compatible with over 1000 cameras and offers joystick-controlled pan, tilt and zoom functionality.

With over 100 preset positions, real-time Eye AF and tracking, with the BIONZ XR engine for accurate detection, it truly offers a complete toolkit. And the cinematic quality of the recordings XAVC internet with the exit SDI per RAW a 16 bit allow you to integrate into a state-of-the-art production system.
