Sony unveils the date of the new State of Play

All ready for the new State of Play. Just today, in fact, Sony has officially announced the date of the event with a post on the official PlayStation blog. The appointment is for the next one 2 June at 11.59 pm Italian, time in which Sony will announce some of the news coming for PlayStation fans. And not only. So let’s find out what we should expect from the event.

“Connect to the live event at 11:59 PM CEST for nearly 30 minutes of trailers and announcements.” So Sony announces the new State of Play, the live event during which some of the most interesting news coming for PlayStation lovers will be presented. A presentation lasting about 30 minutes, which will be possible to follow live on PlayStation’s Twitch and YouTube channels. But what will be the announcements that will be shared during the event?

According to what was reported by the official blog, the “third-party partners have fantastic new announcements in store and, in addition, you can take a preview look at various titles in development for PlayStation VR2”. If so, it is clear that we may finally have access to a few more details about the PS5 headset. Yet, it does not seem to be the only novelty. Some rumors report that the June 2 State of Play could be the perfect opportunity for the presentation of Final Fantasy 16especially considering that Naoki Yoshida stated that the trailer for the game is ready to be shown.

But we might also expect some interesting news on Forspoken, the title of Square Enix to be released in the Fall. Or up Hogwarts Legacy, of which we do not yet know the final launch date. In short, the June 2 event will be really full of surprises. But what it is specifically we will only know by following it.
