The Division 2 will be available on Steam starting January 12th

After launching for PC on the Epic Games Store in 2019, The Division 2 is preparing to kick off 2023 by landing on Steam. The popular Ubisoft game will in fact be available in the catalog starting from 12 January.

The second chapter of The Division franchise is just one of the many Ubisoft games that, without too much haste, are gradually arriving on Steam. In fact, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla also returned at the beginning of the month, while it is also recently possible to access the free-to-play Roller Champions and the strategic Year 1800. On January 5 it will be the turn of Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game.

How is The Division 2: from January also on Steam

Released in March 2019 for consoles and PC, The Division 2 is inspired by the novels of Tom Clancy. These are the same books that led to the creation of other popular Ubisoft video game franchises, such as Rainbow Six and Ghost Recon. In her review of the game for techgameworld.com.it, our Francesca wrote:

“The graphics sector enjoys a really good quality and up to the title in question: right from the introduction we notice a clear cinematic and scenic taste that manages to strike the emotional and strike with its images and storytelling methods that can only be exciting and in step with the best scripts of a hollywood movie. From the very first scenes, both the direction and the graphics have a indifferent charmconfirming the evolution of the videogame medium and declaring it an almost equal companion to cinematography: slow motion mode in the videos, excellent lettering, effective introduction thanks to the narrating voice over are the fundamental ingredients that lay the foundations for an engaging start, a lasting effect in scenic sequences of the game”.

Pending the arrival on Steam, The Division 2 is currently available for PC (on the Epic Games Store), PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The game is also backwards compatible on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S thanks to the free update released by Ubisoft. The game’s Steam page is already available at this link.

In the meantime, the news for Steam doesn’t end there: support for Tesla cars was announced last week, while in March the catalog will expand with another highly anticipated game: Sifu.
