After being acquired by Microsoft, Bethesda continued to work on several works previously announced. Still, considering how this new chapter of The Elder Scrolls has been announced six years ago, not having any news about how the creation of the game is progressing generates quite understandable anxiety among fans. Also, you have to take into account how Todd Howard has stated in the past that Bethesda was extremely focused on Starfield, and that after it there would be time to think about The Elder Scrolls VI. For this reason, it would not be so strange to find that the gameor is still quite far away.

And the new leak confirms this hypothesis: a user on Twitter has in fact shared an image that shows the Linkedin page of Fanny Manset, Bethesda Game Studios’ HR Generalist and Special Pojects. Within his profile, there is a description regarding The Elder Scrolls VI, which reveals how the game still stands in a state of “pre-production”. This is not a strictly specific term, as its meaning varies widely depending on the game and the developer, but what can be deduced with certainty is that The Elder Scrolls VI is currently in a conceptualization phase, and therefore still very far from the release of the game. It is hoped, then, that, after the release of Starfield, the production of the title will start at full capacity.
