Windows 10 version 22H2: Microsoft announces

Windows 10 version 22H2 is coming. Microsoft announced a new Windows 10 feature update

Microsoft (here for more information on the company) has promised to support Windows 10 until October 2025. Of course, for users who can’t upgrade to Windows 11, this is really good news. You are then given an additional three years to prepare for the upgrade to Windows 11. This involves, in most cases, purchasing a new device whose hardware may meet the system requirements for the new operating system.

Windows 10 version 22H2 details

Windows 10 is expected to receive a new feature update later this year, and Twitter user @ he45076932 spotted the first references in the latest cumulative update. More specifically, with a series of commands you should be able to enable what is called Windows 10 versione 22H2. This is, essentially, a new feature update that is expected to be available for Windows 10 later this year.

However, there is little reason to be thrilled with this release. Most likely, the improvements will be minor, as Microsoft is only focusing on a little refinement to keep Windows 10 up and running properly.

The end of Windows 10 support

When it announced the new Windows 11, Microsoft also promised it would continue on support Windows 10 until October 2025. Especially since some devices cannot upgrade to the new operating system.

For customers using a PC that won’t upgrade and aren’t ready to move to a new device, Windows 10 is the right choice. We will be supporting Windows 10 until October 14, 2025, and we recently announced that the next Windows 10 feature update will arrive later this year. Whatever you decide, we are committed to supporting you and offering choice in your IT journey,

Microsoft said last year.

Microsoft hasn’t announced Windows 10 version 22H2 yet, but obviously don’t expect anything big when the new feature update is available.
