Nintendo Direct September 2021: a new Animal Crossing-themed Direct and an update coming soon!

At Nintendo Direct in September 2021 there was also talk of Animal Crossing and in particular of a new important update coming soon

Great news for fans of the blockbuster Nintendo real-life simulation game. During tonight’s Nintendo Direct (i.e. September 2021), it was confirmed that a new Animal Crossing Direct is coming in October and that a free update will arrive for the game in November. Let’s see all the details about it in the next lines of this article.

Nintendo Direct September 2021: in the future a Direct and an update that will introduce a historical character from the Animal Crossing series

You know: as regards Animal Crossing, the highlight of the “course” of the Nintendo Direct of September 2021, undoubtedly, are the news regarding the new Direct theme and the arrival of a new (probably) substantial update of Animal Crossing: New Horizons in November but there is more, and how if there is!

In the trailer shown last night for Nintendo Direct, a fan-favorite character first introduced in the 2005 Nintendo DS game Animal Crossing: Wild World appeared. Who is it about? Obviously from Brewster, a quiet, reserved, but ultimately downright adorable pigeon who runs The Roost, a café that players could visit in previous games for a cup of coffee and a rewarding conversation related to how much coffee one was able to ingest.

In Wild World, players were able to visit The Roost to see KK Slider perform his concerts and in Animal Crossing: City Folk, Brewster could be persuaded to keep your Gyroid. Animal Crossing: New Leaf, which was Brewster’s last appearance, allowed you to work on the Roost after a certain number of coffees consumed.

Nintendo has confirmed that Brewster and The Roost will be added to Animal Crossing: New Horizons in November, but it’s unclear what else the update will contain. Thankfully, with Direct coming next month, it won’t be long before we know more. A few days ago, with the latest update released, the game in question entered the “autumn” phase with some additions of themed collectibles. More information about it here. Did you know that a fan has recreated Bowser’s Castle in New Horizons?
