Sales of Shin Megami Tensei V are mind-boggling, Atlus celebrates the event by thanking fans and announcing upcoming news
Famitsu recently published New Year’s greetings from the various Japanese development studios, including Atlus, revealing that the sales of Shin Megami Tensei V I’m dizzying. The title is the best-selling in the history of the brand, with the beauty of 800,000 copies sold between physical and digital. This makes Shin Megami Tensei V the chapter best-selling of the series, despite being launched only less than two months ago, surpassing the 600,000 copies of Shin Megami Tensei IV.

Despite the excellent sales of Shin Megami Tensei V, Atlus is planning a 2022 full of events and news for his other major video game series, including Celebrating the 25th anniversary of Persona. We already know that Persona 4 Arena Ultimax will arrive in March, but Atlus anticipates that there will be more surprises this year for the franchise. May it be the right time for Person 6? Given the success of the previous chapter, it is very likely that sooner or later we will see the sequel to one of the most influential JRPG ever.
