8BitDo just announced that their controllers will be compatible with iPhone, iPad, Mac and Apple TV for the first time. The company has officially confirmed (via 9to5Mac) that six of its popular controllers now work with Apple devices thanks to recent software updates.
In fact, 8BitDo controllers are very popular, especially for PC and Android gamers, but they were historically incompatible with Apple products.

Here are the 8BitDo controllers now compatible with Apple devices:
- 8BitDo Ultimate 2.4g
- 8BitDo Pro 2
- 8BitDo SN30 Pro+
- 8BitDo Pro
- 8BitDo SN30 Pro per Android
- 8Bitdo Lite SE
We remind you that the controllers, in order to support integration with the iOS and macOS operating systems, will need to be updated. So make sure you have the device updated to the latest firmware. Also check that your operating system is up to date as well. Controllers will support iOS 16.3, iPadOS 16.3, tvOS 16.3 e macOS 13.2.
Support should continue on all future controllers of the brand.
