It has led the migration to new networking technologies with the widest array of devices 5G since the launch, in 2019, of the Galaxy S10 5G, the first Samsung smartphone to support this technology. Shaping this type of network will take several years, in line with what has already happened in the past: however, the company is already identifying trends, services and requirements necessary for the standardization and commercialization of 6G, such as the possibility of aiming for a peak of download of 1000 Gbps, with decreased latency, also providing the possibility of maintaining connections even with moving objects, up to a speed of 500 kilometers per hour.
