WhatsApp beta has just received a new update, which has brought the trial version of the popular messaging app to its own version 2.21.21.11: among the noteworthy innovations arriving with this update we find an alternative design of the icons related to some specific sections and some bug fixes regarding groups.

As can be seen quite clearly in the screenshots below, the main change concerns the dark section icon Safety which is now green in color. WhatsApp has also redesigned the icons for the other sections of the application, such as the one in two-step verification. These new icons are available today for beta testers, so be sure to update to the latest beta if you don’t see them.
The WhatsApp beta update to version 2.21.21.11 is currently being released for everyone users subscribed to the beta channel of the Google Play Store; alternatively, in case it is not yet available, you can manually download the APK from this APK Mirror link.
For the moment, the beta version of the social network has not implemented other noteworthy news, but it is realistic to imagine that much more interesting updates are around the corner.
