Starting in 2020, Samsung began equipping the high-end Galaxy Ultra models with one 108MP camera. Recently, the Korean outlet Material IT Korea stated that the new Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a “detail enhancement” feature for its 108MP camera. More than reliable information, if we consider that the source has already shared some interesting advances on the smartphone.
Galaxy S22 Ultra: all the details of the camera of the Samsung smartphone
Some rumors leaked on the Net confirm that the new Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will have a 108 MP camera that will allow you to “capture even more details”. A noticeable optimization, which seems to be made available only when the 108 MP shooting option is chosen. On the other hand, it must be considered that the large 108 MP sensors seen on devices like the Galaxy S21 Ultra do not allow you to get very close to a subject. Users, in fact, find themselves forced to crop from the main camera or switch to the ultrawide lens instead.
Therefore, Samsung’s idea could be that of combine the features of cameras 108 MP and ultrawide. And this could greatly improve the quality of macro shots. Or, it simply could improve 108MP images, using multi-frame processing and other digital techniques. As a result, images of landscapes, pets, people, and more may result in more resolvable detail. For the moment, it seems that the feature will only arrive on the Galaxy S22 Ultra, but it is not certain that Samsung will not also decide to bring it to previous models.
In any case, this would be just yet another function optimized by Samsung for the new smartphone. Soon, therefore, we could find out what the others will be. Especially considering that the new Galaxy could be released in early 2022.
