As we all know by now, GTA The Trilogy – Definitive Edition it was not exactly the product we would have expected. This collection has undergone one of the most disastrous launches of the year, due to insufficient and even pejorative remastering of some of the elements that made the three games included in the package great. To apologize, Rockstar Games is offering fans a free PC game for everyone who has purchased the GTA Trilogy.

Those who have purchased the remaster trilogy will be able to choose from free copies of Grand Theft Auto 5: Premium Edition, Grand Theft Auto 4: Complete Edition, Max Payne 3, LA Noire o Bully: Scholarship Edition. GTA 5: Premium Edition, the most expensive of these titles, usually sells for 15 or 25 on platforms such as Steam and the Epic Game Store.
However, fans who already own or aren’t interested in those titles can instead choose from a Great White Shark Card in Grand Theft Auto Online or 55 gold bars in Red Dead Online. This initiative is retroactive, this means that if you buy the GTA Trilogy now you will still be entitled to this bonus, at least until January 5 next year, the expiry date of the initiative.
Unfortunately we have to mention that Rockstar has decided not to extend this possibility to console players as well, a choice that we found to be very ineffective. At the moment the developers of the software house are working on one corrective patch, which should bring the situation into a playable state at the very least. In fact, we remind you that the games of the trilogy are currently affected by bugs, glitches and other technical problems of the most disparate nature.
