We are in the year 2120 and humanity is suffering a backlash given by thelack of resources. It almost seems
the start of a huge RPG game, instead, we are talking from KEO, an online multiplayer between vehicles. In
a post-apocalyptic setting, teams of armored cars will compete for dominance of
territory and resources. Between Deathmatch and Dominion, we will have to deal with equipment and strategy in order to
be the best in the field. Are you curious to know some details of this new Early Access on Steam?
Follow us in our preview of KEO.
KEO preview: down to the last bolt
You know Battlefield? Here, now imagine me in one post-apocalyptic scenario in which the clashes
they happen only on the means. This is KEO, the new preview of Redcatpig Studio. It is, therefore, a
multiplayer game racing, where users don’t they will challenge to be the fastest on the track. The teams
they will put their resources into play and will engage in real firefights. Any player can
arm your vehicle and go into battle in different game modes.
We remind you that KEO is in Early Access, so the content will still be expanded and changed over the course of
weather. Basically, however, we have two modes: Deathmatch e Domain. As you can guess from the title, the
first it will be a fight to the last bolt, where the team that gets the most destruction (kills) wins. Anything
too different from a more classic FPS. The second way, however, involves not only destroying the
opponents, but also to win points. The winner is the one who, in the end, manages to maintain dominion over the territory
longer.

It is not a game for those who love to drive
KEO is a very fun title, suitable for those who love the adrenaline of clashes, but certainly non
suitable for those expecting a driving license. In this respect, in fact, the game cannot satisfy lovers
of racing, due to a physics not studied for the purpose. There don’t seem to be too many variations either
given by the difference of the land; the car moves as if nothing changes under the wheels. Forget the
simulation and we give space to the dynamic and combative arcade. Curves will not be the real problem from
face up to.
Explosions, shots, reversals: this is the fulcrum of the title. We will have to juggle machine guns, grenades,
laser and so on and so forth. A thousand frenzy and crazy clashes at a fast pace. Little time for
think, act, fight, respawn and all over again. Everything must be calibrated, the cooldowns of the weapons,
armor, health. We have to balance the attacks to avoid becoming easy in no time
target to destroy.
The structure of KEO si based on the most classic FPS: there are 6 different vehicles which are divided into species of classes.
Some will be better on offense, others on defense, who will give support and so on. Also for the equipment
we have several possible scenarios. There are slots dedicated to weapons and gadgets that we can choose based on
to the fighting style. All weapons and gadgets will unlock with levels, without any particular problems.
KEO preview: lots of fun
KEO certainly offers a lot of fun, although it’s still only a preview. There are still many missing
contents, but the premises are interesting. There are good foundations for gameplay that can become more
solid and mature. The fights are rewarding and dynamic and offer a good pastime. At the moment,
we do not feel like judging the technical side, as it is not yet time. We are in Early Access and all
it can change. Even the content side, which is quite small, will certainly be expanded and
improved over time. Let us remember, in fact, that KEO is sold for only € 9.99 on Steam. A
very low price for a game that can only improve.
